Decide where you want your charger to go. Most people elect to have the charger in the garage, but we can most likely put it where ever you want. Keep in mind most charging units have a pretty long cord(25' on most of them), so pick a convenient spot that is out of the way of bikes, lawnmowers etc. Make sure the area is cleared out enough to park your car, and that there is a clear area around where you want the charger. The unit will be mounted on the wall, so keep that in mind.

Print out the assessment worksheet and read through it. Note any special circumstances about the area you want the charger installed, paying particular attention to the path leading to the electrical service panel. Is there a brick wall in the way? Is it far away(over 35 ft.)? Make notes on the sheet so your online assessment is as accurate as possible.
